Missouri City’s Sunshine Landscaping, run by Manuel Ortiz, is dedicated to beautifying neighborhoods and making a positive impact on the community. For Ortiz, sports played a huge role in his youth, teaching him the value of teamwork and perseverance. Now, as a successful business owner, he’s thrilled to support Youth Texas Teams magazine, sharing inspiration with young athletes across Texas.
Ortiz’s advice to young athletes is to “approach each game with a positive attitude and give it your all.” Sunshine Landscaping believes that sportsmanship, hard work, and team support are invaluable qualities that sports teach young people. “Sports are about building each other up,” Ortiz says.
